Chubut, Neuquen: 01. - 05.05.2010 We decided right. Argentina greeted us with steel blue skies and even the temperatures that reached 25°C didn’t really make us believe it was fall. But the trees didn’t let any doubt come up. It seems like they had a competition on who is the most colorful.
Since we have already driven this route we didn’t plan on spending much
time in the area. But the wonderful autumn landscape let us make the one
or the other extra stop. It all looked so different. Through the now
empty Parque National Los Alerces, we went via El Bolson to Bariloche
and into the Parque National Nahuel Huapi. The trees everywhere where as
colorful, Rembrandt himself could not have done it better.
After the weather spoiled us on our ‘first’ day in Argentina, we became
the feeling of being in Central Europe in April (a mix of cloud, rain
and sun). But our mood wasn’t touched because of it and here and there
the sun came through as well. At Lago Tarful we got our dive gear out
again to finally breathe some compressed air again, we heard it is
supposed to be great there. Full of expectation we dove into the wet.
Unfortunately it was the wrong spot and the expected cliffs where not
there, but besides strong winds the visibility was great even or maybe
because the anglers caught all fish out of the lake in the summer.
Nevertheless for us it meant back to Chile. How long we stay this time?
No clue!
Bye bye from Chile
