On April 21nd 1970 the second largest country on the Australian continent was founded. The introduction of new weed quota thru the government would have made Farmer Len Casley a poor man. To prevent expropriation he used a loophole in the constitution and separated himself off from the Commonwealth of Australia. Even the Queen was asked for advice, but her hands were tied. That is how 75 kilometer north of Northampton the only principality in the world that was founded without bloodshed came to be.
